LimeMoment Play for work socials

Work party games that get colleagues talking

Good work party games give people a reason to talk to somebody outside their own team. LimeMoment Play runs on the phones everyone already carries, so a leaving do, a summer social or an end of year night gets going without anybody downloading an app or making an account.

The same games suit a family party or a group of friends, and they're ready for charities, churches and community groups as well as businesses of any size.

No app to install. No guest accounts. Free for up to 30 people at once.

Work party games that suit a room of colleagues

  • Two truths and a lie

Colleagues send three statements about themselves and the room spots the lie. The author scores for everyone they fooled. Nothing is used unless they ticked a box to agree and you approved it.

    On every plan

  • Guess the colleague

    Activity: Guess the person

People share a fact about themselves and everybody guesses whose it is, with wording for colleagues. The person the fact is about sits that round out.

    On every plan

  • Common ground

Quick questions with no right answer. At the end each person sees the colleagues who answered most like them, and anyone can keep themselves out of the matches.

    On every plan

  • The hot seat

    Activity: Hot seat

Pick somebody at random and the room predicts whether they'll get it. Anyone can set 'Don't pick me' on their phone at any time, and nobody who has opted out is ever picked.

    On every plan

  • Team awards

    Activity: Awards voting

Nominate, shortlist, vote and reveal, with joint winners and a runner-up. It works for a leaving do's 'best moments' as well as an end of year night.

    On every plan

  • Your organisation on screen

Show your organisation's name, logo and brand colour on everybody's phone and on the big screen, with a contrast check so it stays readable.

Ready-to-run programmes to start from

In Play, open Create and pick one of the ready-to-run programmes. It arrives with its questions, host notes and running order, and you can change any of it. They're on every plan.

  • Get people talking

Missions and people bingo that push guests to meet the people they came to meet, with a this or that to start.

    About 10 minutes of play

    1. This or that
    2. Networking missions (Networking challenge)
    3. People bingo (Event bingo)
  • Awards night

Nominations and voting for four awards, a table quiz between the categories and feedback on the night.

    About 40 minutes of play

    1. The awards (Awards voting)
    2. Table quiz (Table versus table)
    3. One word for the year (Word cloud)
    4. Your thoughts on tonight (Feedback)

A summer social on the waterfront

Picture a summer social for 120 people in a bar at the Royal Albert Dock. Open with the Get people talking programme so people bingo and mission their way round the room, then run two truths and a lie from the statements colleagues sent in during the week. Finish with a tap battle between departments and a prize draw from everybody who played.

120 people taking part at once fits the Shine plan, which allows up to 300.

Questions hosts ask

The full FAQ covers plans, data and accessibility, and the party quiz guide walks you through a first game.

Do colleagues have to share personal details for these work party games?

No. Nobody needs an account, a name is optional and anonymous play collects no names or photos at all. Statements and facts are only used when somebody ticks a box to agree, and you approve each one.

Can remote colleagues join in?

Yes. People joining from home use the same code and play in real time. If they choose to share where they are, the screen can show where people are joining from.

Can we keep the results?

Yes. Results, the leaderboard and every answer download as CSV files on every plan, and you choose which results go into the moment's Event Story.

Make your next work social the one people join in with
