LimeMoment Play for weddings

Wedding games your guests will talk about

The best wedding games bring both families into the same conversation. LimeMoment Play turns your reception into one room playing together: guests scan a code on the table, play on their own phones and see the answers land as you reveal them.

It's built for couples and their families first, and it's ready for wedding planners and venues who run receptions every weekend.

No app to install. No guest accounts. Free for up to 30 people at once.

Games for the reception

  • How well do you know the couple?

Ask the room what the couple would say, then let them pick their own answer live. Everyone who knew them best scores, and the screen shows how many got it right.

    On every plan

  • Partner versus partner

The two of you answer the same questions and the guests guess who said what. It's a quick one to run between courses.

    On every plan

  • A photo hunt through the evening

    Activity: Photo hunt

A shot list for guests to find, like the first dance or the cake before it's cut. Every photo waits for your approval before it appears.

    On every plan

  • Advice for the newlyweds

    Activity: Advice wall

Guests write their best advice and you keep it in your Event Story, next to the photos and messages from the day.

    On every plan

  • A table quiz

    Activity: Table versus table

Tables play as teams, ranked by average score so a big table can't win on numbers alone. Print table cards and each table's QR code puts guests on their team.

    On every plan

  • The big screen

Put the questions, the answers coming in and the podium on a TV or projector for the whole room. Without one, every guest still sees the results on their phone.

On the Shine plan and up

Ready-to-run programmes to start from

In Play, open Create and pick one of the ready-to-run programmes. It arrives with its questions, host notes and running order, and you can change any of it. They're on every plan.

  • Wedding reception

Guess what the couple will say, a table quiz, bingo and a photo hunt through the evening, and advice for the newlyweds.

    About 30 minutes of play

    1. How well do you know the couple?
    2. Table quiz (Table versus table)
    3. Wedding bingo (Event bingo)
    4. Photo hunt
    5. Advice for the newlyweds (Advice wall)
  • Anniversary celebration

Guess what the couple will say, an anniversary gifts quiz and memories from the people who were there.

    About 20 minutes of play

    1. How well do you know the happy couple? (How well do you know the couple?)
    2. Anniversary gifts quiz (Live quiz)
    3. A memory of the happy couple (Complete the memory)
    4. One word for the happy couple (Word cloud)
For example

A reception at St George's Hall

Say you're hosting 120 guests at St George's Hall. Start from the Wedding reception programme: guess what the couple will say before the speeches, a table quiz between courses, bingo and a photo hunt running through the evening and advice for the newlyweds to finish. Your best man can run it from the MC's phone link while you enjoy the day.

120 people taking part at once fits the Shine plan, which allows up to 300.

Questions hosts ask

The full FAQ covers plans, data and accessibility, and the party quiz guide walks you through a first game.

Will these wedding games work for older guests?

Yes. Answer buttons are large, a time limit on a question is optional and sound stays off until each guest turns it on. A guest with no phone of their own can play on somebody else's.

Who runs the wedding games on the day?

Whoever you like. The host console runs on a phone, and there's a separate link for an MC, so your best man or a friend can open each question and reveal the answers.

What happens to the answers afterwards?

Nothing is added on its own. Every result has a button that puts it into your Event Story, and you choose which ones to keep.

Plan your wedding games in an evening

Start from the Wedding reception programme, fill in the questions about the two of you and practise it on your own phone first. Your wedding games are ready long before the day, and they stay in your moment with the photos and messages afterwards.
